SASKATOON — is looking to bring his two decades of legal experience, which included being a diplomat in Finland, to Parliament Hill, as the Liberal candidate for Saskatoon West for the April 28 federal elections.
Eggerman, a partner at Procido LLP, spent nearly eight years working in Northern Europe and served as the Honorary Consul for Saskatchewan and the Northwest Territories in the Nordic country for over 12 years.
He offers a global perspective through his extensive experience in international law, encompassing cross-border trade, tariffs, and regulatory compliance. His legal knowledge also extends to the agriculture, energy, manufacturing, and mining sectors.
Eggerman, aside from being an advocate for sustainable economic growth and a business leader, represented a diverse group of clients, including low-income individuals, various Indigenous groups, and large multinational corporations.
He worked closely with Indigenous communities, business owners, contractors, and other industry stakeholders to drive investment, job creation, and sustainable development, earning him a reputation for navigating complex regulatory and economic landscapes effectively.
Eggerman’s compassionate and practical approach helped him strategically guide Indigenous organizations and businesses. His understanding of entrepreneurs' challenges led him to be committed to promoting policies that support innovation, infrastructure, and workforce growth.
If elected, Eggerman, who lives in one of the neighbourhoods in Saskatoon West with his wife and three children, hopes to see economic development that fosters opportunity, fairness and sustainability.
Fueling his passion for public service is championing forward-thinking policies that address affordability, infrastructure, and economic diversification, bringing a strong, solutions-oriented voice to Parliament, says Eggerman.
