SASKATOON - A woman is recovering after being bear sprayed last night.
At approximately 11:30 p.m. on April 7, police were called to an establishment in the 900 block of 22nd Street West for a report of an injured person.
Upon arrival, officers located a woman suffering from the effects of bear spray.
Further investigation determined that an unknown woman had approached the victim and asked for a cigarette; when the victim declined, the suspect discharged bear spray into the victim’s face and fled the area.
The suspect was not located but police are continuing to investigate.
