SASKATOON - One man was transported to hospital following a stabbing yesterday afternoon.
At around 2:30 p.m. on April 7, police were called to the 200 block of 1st Avenue Â鶹´«Ã½AV for a report of a person that had been stabbed. The suspect was reported to have fled into a nearby mall. Upon arrival, officers located the male victim suffering from what were believed to be non-life-threatening injuries; he was transported to hospital for treatment of his injuries. A subsequent search of the area did not locate the suspect.
The suspect and victim are not believed to be known to one another and police are continuing to investigate.
