Regina police investigate city's third homicide of 2025

REGINA - The Regina Police Service is investigating the city’s third homicide of 2025. 

At approximately 5:30 a.m. on April 24, police and EMS were dispatched to a call for service in the 800 block of Victoria Avenue. When police arrived, they located an injured adult male. He was declared deceased a short time later. 

Officers secured the scene and requested the additional resources of the Regina Police Service Major Crimes Unit and the Regina Police Service Forensic Identification Unit. An investigation with the Saskatchewan Coroners Service was done and determined the death to be a homicide. Police say the victim’s name will not be released at this time.
