REGINA – A 33-year-old man facing a first-degree murder charge in connection with Regina’s third homicide of the year made his first appearance in Regina Provincial Court on Monday.
Keli Stonechild's case was adjourned to May 2 to allow him time to retain legal counsel.
While the Regina Police Service has withheld the victim’s name at the request of his family, court documents identify him as William Allan Campbell.
The charge stems from an incident on April 24. At approximately 5:30 a.m., police and EMS were called to the 800 block of Victoria Avenue for a report of an injured man. When officers arrived they located the victim, who was pronounced deceased shortly afterwards.
