LUSELAND – In just three weeks, the Luseland Bible Camp have seen donations coming into their office.
On the camp’s social media page dated March 6, the camp had started their fundraising goal of $50,000 to repair some of the cabins that needed to be stabilized prior to the start of the summer. Within three days, their goal thermometer had reached $11,500.
The social media page and thermometer was updated again on March 14, with special recognition to Justin Hennes Dental Prof Corp. in Kindersley for a donation of $25,000, bringing the total donations to $36,000.
March 20, the thermometer showed that the $50,000 goal had been reached and surpassed. The announcement on their Facebook page said donations of $20 and $30,000 was made. Any additional donations received will go towards completing work on the Quonset, creating a new chapel and a place to play during rainy days.
