HUMBOLDT — Humboldt resident Murray Lees was on the fourth hole of the Moon Lake Golf and Country Club’s Highland course in Saskatoon, competing in the Auto Clearing Senior Men’s Championship.

Saskatoon will be hosting the inaugural SGI Canada Best of the West Under-30 Curling Championship set from April 22 to 24 at the Nutana Curling Club.

The postseason is under way in the North Saskatchewan River Baseball League and there have already been a few surprises involving the Battlefords-based teams.

The Canadian Professional Chuckwagon Racing season continued this week in Lloydminster with the North American Chuckwagon Championship. It is the third stop on the CPCA schedule in 2021.

This week saw the North Saskatchewan River Baseball League wrap up their regular season, with playoffs still to come. It was a shortened season in 2021, with each team in the league scheduled to play 11 games.
