North Stars to host weekend games in Wilkie, Battleford

NORTH BATTLEFORD - The Battlefords North Stars have announced they are going on a “Small Town Rink Tour” this weekend after the sudden closure of Access Communications Centre.

The game Nov. 18 against the Flin Flon Bombers has been moved to Wilkie, game time 7:30 p.m., while the game Nov. 19 has been moved to Battleford, game time 2 p.m.

All season tickets are being accepted at both venues. Limited seating is available so fans are urged to come early.

The games have been moved due to issues with the ice condenser at Access Communications Centre. The indication is it will be back open next Thursday, Nov. 24.
