A vehicle fire in Battleford early Friday, July 30 is being investigated by the RCMP.
"We have deemed the fire suspicious," says Fire Chief Larry Gabruch.
The call came in at 5 a.m. and Gabruch says the fire was well advanced when firefighters arrived at 8 - 1st Ave. E. The vehicle burning was parked on the driveway of the residence and a total loss, Gabruch says. A vehicle parked adjacent to the burning car on the driveway sustained heavy damage. The flames were inside the cab and the tires were on fire.
Gabruch says the house itself was also threatened.
