Four Battlefords citizens were honoured for their integrity at the North Battleford Rotary Club's president's banquet June 28.
The Rotary International Integrity Award, awarded each year, was accepted by Barbara and Ralph Hall and Howard and Mary Mattilla.
In making the presentations past president Ben Christensen described all four as people who "embody every aspect of the word 'integrity.'"
Integrity Award criteria is summed up by, "the nominees' word is their bond, even to their detriment."
The award dates back to 1993 and has been used by Rotary to recognize non-Rotarian citizens of Battlefords and district who have a history of uprightness and honesty.
