In a four-month period, April 18 to July 7, there were four instances of theft in the Maidstone area.
Sometime between 8 p.m. July 5 and 3 a.m. July 6 perpetrators damaged the back door of Marshall's Place Store in Marshall while attempting to gain entry. The RCMP would like to talk to anyone who was in Marshall that night who saw traffic or pedestrians in the area.
A second theft was in the parking lot at Silver Lake Regional Park sometime between 10:30 p.m. July 6 and 5:30 a.m. July 7 when three cars were broken into and wallets and purses were stolen. The clubhouse was also entered and 40 packages of cigarettes were taken.
The RCMP would like to remind all campers to lock their cars and camping units when they are unsupervised.
Perpetrators drove into an oil well site northeast of Maidstone between April 18 and 26 and stole 20 cow panels. The panels are heavy steel fencing sections.
Sometime between June 30 and July 5 perpetrators went into an oil field site northeast of Lloydminster and stole about 130 meters of copper wire.
