The City of North Battleford summer playground program runs until Aug 24.

This program is for kids between the ages of 6 and 12. The program is at four different locations: Centennial Park, Connaught School, Kinsmen Park and a brand new location, the Fairview Playground.

For the next two months there will be many different exciting activities for the children to enjoy like painting rocks and acorns, face painting, playing in sprinklers, playing stella-ella-ola, skipping rope, jackpot and many more. Every week there is a new theme. The first week was rainbow week and the second is under the sea and so on.

You can go get a brochure at the North Battleford Library that describes all the activities that will be happening. The times for the playground program are Monday to Friday noon to 5 p.m. and Tuesday, Wednesday and Thursday 6 to 8 p.m. The program offers exciting activities for the kids to do during the summer, getting them outdoors and making some new friends.
