Rescue tools get a workout

North Battleford Fire and Emergency Services personnel put their rescue equipment to work at two recent crashes in the city. Monday, extraction was required when two vehicles collided at the intersection of 100th Street and Territorial Drive.

Monday, extraction was required when two vehicles collided at the intersection of 100th Street and Territorial Drive. One person, with unknown injuries, was trapped in one of the vehicles involved.

Friday, March 11 three vehicles piled up at the intersection of 100th Street and 11th Avenue and spreaders had to be used to open the door of one of the vehicles so the driver could get out.

In a press release, Deputy Chief Bryan Beach says the occupants of the three vehicles were checked out by EMS and released. Two of the vehicles were extensively damaged.
