RCMP in Colonsay continue to investigate the circumstances surrounding the disappearance of Victor Mateyshin, an 84-year-old man from the

community of Bruno.

Police are asking rural land owners from Wakaw to Humboldt, and specifically the Dana and Bruno areas, to check their local property including abandoned areas, trails, bluffs of trees and any other areas that might not be visible from the road for Mateyshin or his vehicle.

RCMP Air Services out of Regina are now actively involved in the search for Mateyshin. The aerial search will attempt to follow his last known path of travel, which was believed to on the Bremen Grid Road, north of Dana. A local pilot who knows Mateyshin will be flying his own plane today in hopes of locating the vehicle and/or Mateyshin.
