The luck of the Irish was not with Donald Rushton and Darlene Baptiste on March 17, but rather with the RCMP.
The North Battleford Provincial GIS unit, along with Cut Knife RCMP, executed a search warrant at a residence on Poundmaker First Nation, seizing 275 grams of marijuana, 63 grams of hashish and a large amount of cash.
Rushton, 47, and Baptiste, 57, were arrested and charged possession and trafficking, as well as possessing proceeds of crime.
The two were released from custody and are due to appear in Cut Knife Provincial Court April 19.
