The RCMP are asking for the public's help in nabbing a few thieves.
Around 6 p.m. March 24, an older model Chevy truck with a flat deck trailer drove into the yard of a residence in the Paynton area.
After backing the truck up to the residence, the thieves broke in and loaded the truck with a battery charger, a toolbox and a bail of hay, perhaps to rebuild a house for one of the three little piggies.
Adding insult to injury, the truck was backed into the house, causing extensive damage.
The perpetrators took off, heading north towards Highway 16.
Police say the truck was a dark colour, possibly brown.
