For the past several months, an unknown person has reportedlybeen trespassing on residential properties in the towns ofMaidstone and Marshall.
Only cigarette butts have been noted to be stolen from one residence. In some cases, the perpetrator haskicked on windows and doors. In other cases, the person has been peering into bedroom windows.
Police are asking for the public's assistance to keep watch for suspicious activity in their areas and to keep their windows and doors locked.
