No injuries in crashes

Emergency crews were busy with a number of collisions over the past few days. Saturday, WPD Ambulance responded to a single vehicle rollover 6.5 kilometres north of Edam on Highway 4.

Emergency crews were busy with a number of collisions over the past few days.

Saturday, WPD Ambulance responded to a single vehicle rollover 6.5 kilometres north of Edam on Highway 4. The local fire department and first responders were on the scene of the incident, which happened around 2:55 p.m. No patients were transported to hospital.

Monday there was another motor vehicle collision, this one at the entrance to Frontier Mall near Tim Hortons.

WPD Ambulance, RCMP and North Battleford Fire and Emergency Services were on the scene. No patients needed to be transported to hospital.

A third emergency call Monday around 8:30 a.m. saw North Battleford Fire and Emergency Services provide assistance to WPD Ambulance crews with respect to a critical patient on 93rd Street, in what is described by the fire department as a joint effort.

Lieutenant Brian Marchewka said, "WPD really have their hands full with critical patients. As first responders we are happy to help out in any way we can."
