Man charged after police called to domestic disturbance in Saskatoon

A Saskatoon man was arrested after police were called to a domestic disturbance Wednesday night.

On Aug. 14, at approximately 8:30 p.m., police were called to the 10th block of Borden Place in Saskatoon for a report of a domestic disturbance in progress.

Upon arrival, officers were given access to the home by the 32-year-old female victim who was suffering from injuries consistent with an assault. Once inside, officers located and arrested the male suspect.

The woman was transported to hospital by paramedics with what were believed to be non-life-threatening injuries.

As a result, a 33-year-old man is facing charges relating to assault causing bodily harm, resisting police, and failure to comply with court-ordered conditions.
