The Credit Union CU Plex project has received another financial boost, this time towards the curling facility.
Dr. Ralph and Barbara Hall have stepped forward with a donation of $100,000 for the project. They will be sponsoring two sheets of curling ice at the Northland Power Curling Centre.
Both have been longtime supporters of the multiplex project. They have been avid curlers for many years, with Ralph's team winning the local bonspiel last year.
"We are pleased to be part of this industrious initiative in the betterment of this community - a community that has provided so well for us," Dr. Hall said in a statement.
