Friday is the last day for vaccine clinics at the CAT Finning building west of Battleford as the Saskatchewan Health Authority is discontinuing drive-thrus and most appointment booked clinics in favour of targeted outreach.
The CAT Finning building will be open from noon until 8 p.m. Friday. The venue has been a popular destination for residents to receive their vaccines, contributing to a total of more than 658,000 Saskatchewan residents being fully vaccinated.
Mobile clinics planned for the Battlefords in coming days are:
Friday, Aug 6 – 11 a.m. - 6 p.m. at the Frontier Mall Farmer’s Market;

COVID-19 immunizations will continue after Aug. 8, but through walk-in/pop-up clinics at public venues throughout the province, as well as through participating community pharmacies by appointment. Appointments booked online will continue for some smaller centres where pharmacy immunization is unavailable. The 1-833-SASKVAX phone line is being decommissioned, and the last day they will be receiving calls is Aug. 7.
