Maidstone RCMP warns the public of a magazine publication that has been contacting businesses in community of Maidstone.
This publication has been calling and asking if the business would buy an advertisement in the magazine. The cost of the ad would be used to bridge the gap between the community and the police.
At this time the Maidstone RCMP are not aware of any publications that are soliciting on the RCMP's behalf.
The police request if you or your business are contacted do not give any banking or financial information.
