The Jackfish Lake Watershed Association conducted a release from Jackfish Lake in respect of maintaining its licensed level of operation and as part of its annual allocation commitment to Ducks Unlimited Canada for its Jackfish Marsh project.
The release began on 28 and continued until June 10.
Jackfish Lake remains slightly above its licensed level of operation. There are no further releases proposed from Jackfish Lake unless water levels continue above its licensed level of operation or rise above that level after July 1.
Ducks Unlimited Canada provides releases from its Jackfish Marsh Project for downstream riparian requirements. You may follow the water level of Jackfish Lake on Saskatchewan Watershed Authorities website at www.swa.ca.
