Deaths ruled murder suicide

The deaths of two women near Glaslyn March 6 has been ruled a murder suicide by investigators. RCMP in Glaslyn were called to the rural residence by a family member of one of the dead women who expressed concern about her well being.

RCMP in Glaslyn were called to the rural residence by a family member of one of the dead women who expressed concern about her well being.

Police say both of the dead women lived at the residence. The body of a 51-year-old was found outside, while a 56-year-old woman was found inside.

The names of the dead women or their specific causes of death are not being released at the request of the respective families, according to the RCMP.

The Provincial Coroner was involved in the investigation conducted by the RCMP Saskatoon Major Crimes Unit, members from the Glaslyn, St. Walburg and Turtleford detachments and members from the Forensic Identification Unit from North Battleford.
