A collision involving a police vehicle in North Battleford has led to a North Battleford woman being arrested. Michelle Taylor, 28, is charged with impaired driving and also faces a second charge of driving over .08.

A collision involving a police vehicle in North Battleford has led to a North Battleford woman being arrested.

Michelle Taylor, 28, is charged with impaired driving and also faces a second charge of driving over .08. She was charged after the incident June 29.

RCMP say at around 11 p.m. a marked police vehicle going eastbound on patrol on 19th Avenue collided with a westbound pickup truck at the intersection of 19th Avenue and 98th Street. As the vehicles approached the intersection, it is alleged the truck turned in front of the police vehicle to 98th street, where the collision took place.

The police vehicle was not responding to a call and did not have its emergency equipment on at the time, according to RCMP.

There were no injuries. Police say the investigation is continuing.
