Two fires in North Battleford kept fire fighters busy Saturday, April 9.
A vehicle was discovered on fire in the rear parking lot of North Battleford Comprehensive High School at a little after four in the morning. The fire was extinguished by North Battleford Fire and Emergency Services, who were on scene for over 40 minutes.
Although the cause of the fire is undetermined, the fire has been deemed suspicious in nature and further investigations will ensue.
NBFES was again called out that day, at almost 7 p.m., to extinguish a minor dumpster fire behind Notre Dame Church. There was no damage or injuries, and fire fighters were on scene for less than five minutes.
