I would like to thank everyone who comes to fundraisers, jam sessions, potlucks and other events in support of Maymont Memorial Hall. Someone asked me what a fundraiser is.

Every day we see lots of different text on television, on computer monitors, on street signs, in newspapers and magazines, and in letters and papers at work or school. Even on our cell phones, we text and see full words or abbreviations of words.

Kaiser was played at the Maidstone Drop In Centre Feb. 12. Tied for high score were Jean Stewart and Dorothy Schwartz. Low score went to Eva Inkster. Lunch was provided by Lil McMillan.
