Culture Days activities draw all ages to ARC
During Culture Days on Sept. 25 to 27, ARC Creative Studios opened the studio to the public, offering an opportunity to participate in ‘creative’ artistic possibilities. Over the three days the studio was full.

Grades 1 to 12 participate in Terry Fox Run/Walk
The school held their annual Terry Fox Run Sept. 30 and collected $430. A video was shown of Terry Fox and his valiant effort to run across Canada and of how the run every year has generated millions of dollars for cancer research across Canada.

Kolin, Cheryl Bulmer and family are mourning the loss of Kolin's father, Howard Bulmer, who was a resident at River Heights Lodge in North Battleford. Howard and his wife Effie previously farmed in the Lilac area.

Flowerbeds at Memorial Hill cleaned out
The drive to Livelong Oct. 2 was so pretty with the leaves turning from green to every shade of yellow and so bright in places. Against the spruce trees they really showed up beautifully. There were a couple skunks and porcupines dead on the highway.
