MAIDSTONE — Tuesday morning coffee was enjoyed at Pine Island Suites. Each guest went home with cookie ingredients in a Christmas tin, so each one could bake Granberrie Creek Hooters. It will be interesting to see how they turn out. The ladies who entertain us do a terrific job and everyone says "thank you" and the best of Christmas season to you all.
A number of the apartment people enjoyed the Christmas supper and entertainment at the Drop In Center Friday evening.
Sunday, Duncan MacEachern of Marsden visited me and had lunch.
Riley and Colleen Koski were to Lloydminster to do some shopping. Friday they were to Regina where Riley had a job interview.
Dec 4, the seniors were treated to a Christmas supper by the Maidstone High School leadership group. The supper was excellent and there were door prizes. Jean Hartman of the apartments won a beautiful poinsettia.
Shane Spray stopped in to see Grandma Ruth Enright on his way back to Edmonton to work.
We've been busy with Christmas suppers and programs. It hardly seems possible Christmas is once again here. I would like to wish all the staff of Battlefords Publishing Ltd. and my friends and neighbours a very merry Christmas and a peaceful happy new year.
