Lodge supports first aid training

It was reported the books had been audited and found the treasurer does an excellent job of her duties.

Members were also informed membership dues have gone up. These are due at the next meeting.

The lodge agreed to pay $110 per St. Walburg Grade 12 student, enabling them to take the first aid course offered annually.

It was agreed members would take part and lay a wreath at the Remembrance Day service.

Georgina Schneider and Yvonne Beeching represented the lodge at Cut Knife, where they hosted a visit by Supreme Honoured Royal Lady Sharon MacLean.

Judy Helperl is the one to contact if members want to take part in the provincial Royal Purple curling this year, which will be held in Beechy.

The annual Ladies' Night Out date, always the first Saturday in May, has been set and a committee formed to start planning.

Martha Johnson has offered to help with monthly bingos at the lodge for the rest of the year.

Drivers who delivered September meals on wheels were thanked.

Kim Rendle and Georgina Schneider contributed to the birthday fund. No applications for membership were received, but new members are encouraged and welcome.
