Credit Union gives presentation on fraud

Cribbage was played Monday April 24 High Score went to Danice Newton and low to Ruth Enwright. Lunch was provided by Dorothy Schwartz. Bingo was played at the centre on Wednesday April 26 th with Joan Smith and Margret MacEachern doing the calling.

Thursday April 27 the Saskatchewan Seniors Fitness  Association held their annual meeting and fun day at the centre. There were 35 people in attendance at this event. 18 of which bowled in the morning and winners being Ladies high Denise Newton, Mens high Walter Garnats.  Partners were Don Nichols and Mary Ramsay. Visitors were from North Battleford, Live Long, Edam, Meota, Rosetown, Turtleford, CutKnife, Hafford and Maidstone.

Cribbage was played and won by Dorothy Schwartz with a perfect score in the 5 games played. Casino rummy was played and won by Joan Smith. Three young ladies from the local Synergy Credit Union gave a useful and informative talk on Fraud. If you are concerned about phone calls or correspondence this may be fraudulent if you are unsure to contact your local credit  union for advice or assistance. The 55FA annual meeting followed with President Ollie. Marshnick of Hafford conducting the meeting. This concluded a busy day!

Last week I spoke about being in the Town of Bow Island Alberta. I forget to mention it is the Pinto Bean capitol of Canada.
