BJORKDALE — The Porcupine School of Dance held their annual Dance Recital on May 6. Local Bjorkdale dancers were:
- Mirra Currey, who danced senior hip hop
- Abby van Oirschot danced Senior hip hop and senior jazz
- Nasya Orosz danced tiny tot ballet
- Maraya Orosz danced junior hip hop
- Sarah Goldsworthy danced in pre junior jazz and ballet
The entire performance was watched by over 150 people. There were many thank yous to Megan Hoffus, dance instructor and teacher for all the dancers and all the work she has put into choreographing all of the routines. There was also a special thank yous to Danielle and Rachel Cross who do many things to help the dance season and recital run smooth
The Bjorkdale School will be hosting a formal day and Mothers Day Tea on Friday, May 12 for everyone to come enjoy. There will be performances from all the students. The public is invited to attend at the Bjorkdale Hall at 1 p.m.
On May 19 the Bjorkdale School will be doing an annual clean up around the Village of Bjorkdale. Thank you for keeping our community clean and tidy.
