SASKATOON — Did you hear gunshots in the area of the SaskTel Centre this morning?
Members of the Tactical Support Unit were conducting training this morning at the SaskTel Centre from 10 a.m. until approximately noon.
A release sent out by the Saskatoon Police Service said this training included some firearms training and as a result the public may have heard firearm discharges.
Traffic restrictions were also in place leading into the SaskTel Center grounds and drivers were asked to avoid the area until the traffic restrictions were lifted.
