Sudden death of Cut Knife man deemed unsuspicious in nature by local RCMP.

Cut Knife RCMP Report – Feb. 12 to Feb. 25

RCMP received a complaint of an intoxicated individual at a residence.  Members attended but the subject of complaint was sleeping.  The complainant requested no further action be taken.    

Police received a report of a vehicle collision with a deer.  There were no injuries.  Reported for insurance purposes.

Members received a request to keep the peace while an individual retrieved personal belongings from a residence.

RCMP received a report of an open door at a residence.  The complainant closed the door and there were no other issues.  Reported for information purposes.

A 33-year-old male from North Battleford was charged with fail to comply with probation order after Members received a complaint of an individual breaching conditions of a probation order.

Police received a complaint of an individual failing to comply with a release order condition but it was unfounded.

A 34-year-old male from Little Pine First Nation was charged with resist Peace Officer and fail to comply with release order condition after Members located the subject of complaint breaching a curfew condition.

Members are investigating a complaint of theft.

A 43-year-old female and a youth were charged with assault with a weapon, uttering threats and mischief after Members received a complaint of assault.

RCMP received a complaint of an individual not complying with a release order condition.  This matter is still under investigation.

Police received a complaint of an individual damaging property at a residence.  This matter is still under investigation.

RCMP received a complaint of an intoxicated individual at a residence.  Members transported the subject of complaint to cells to remain until sober. 

Members acted as mediators in a child custody dispute.

Police received a Mental Health Act complaint.  Members spoke to the subject of complaint.

A youth was charged with assault and assault while choking after Members received a complaint of assault.

A 31-year-old male from Edmonton was charged with indecent act, uttering threats and resist Peace Officer after Member received a complaint of disturbing the peace.  A 26-year-old male from Little Pine First Nation was also charged with fail to comply with a release order condition and 26-year-old female from North Battleford was charged with fail to comply with a conditional sentence order.

Members received a complaint of assault but it was unfounded.

A 26-year-old female from Poundmaker First Nation was charged with assault causing bodily harm and a 34-year-old male from Saskatoon was charged with two counts of assault with a weapon, assault and uttering threats after Members received a complaint of assault.

Members attended the sudden death of a 65-year-old Cut Knife male.  The death was not suspicious in nature.

RCMP conducted a curfew check at the request of Community Corrections.

Police received a report of a dog biting an individual.  Members patrolled but could not locate the animal.

Members received a request from Emergency Medical Services to assist with a patient.

RCMP assisted an individual in locating transportation.

Members conducted a wellbeing check at the request of a family member.

A 26-year-old male from Little Pine First Nation was charged with two counts of possession of weapon for dangerous purpose, two counts of carrying a concealed weapon, three counts of fail to comply with release order condition, fail to comply with probation order and theft after Members received a report of an individual carrying a weapon.

Police are investigating a complaint of theft.

RCMP received a complaint of fraud but there was insufficient evidence to proceed.

Members conducted four wellbeing checks at the request of Child and Family Services this week.

A 63-year-old male from Poundmaker First Nation was charged with discharge firearm while being reckless and unsafe storage of a firearm after Members received a firearm complaint.

Police received a complaint of an intoxicated individual at a residence.  Members transported the subject of complaint to cells to remain until sober. 

A 20-year-old male from Little Pine First Nation was charged with resist Peace Officer and fail to comply with undertaking condition after Members located the subject of complaint breaching an undertaking condition.

RCMP received a complaint of an individual not complying with a probation order.  This matter is still under investigation.

A 43-year-old male from Little Pine First Nation was charged with obstruct Peace Officer and fail to comply with probation order and a 42-year-old female from Poundmaker First Nation was charged with fail to comply with undertaking condition after Members received a 911 hang-up.

A 67-year-old male from Little Pine First Nation was charged with resist Peace Officer during a curfew check.

Police received a report of harassing communications.  Members spoke to the complainant who declined to proceed.

A 33-year-old male from Poundmaker First Nation was charged with fail to comply with undertaking condition after Members received a report of an unwanted individual at a residence.

RCMP received a Mental Health Act complaint.  Members spoke to the subject of complaint.

Members conducted a wellbeing check at the request of a family member.

Police received a complaint of an intoxicated individual at a residence.  Members transported the subject of complaint to cells to remain until sober. 

RCMP received a complaint of a stolen vehicle.  The vehicle was recovered in North Battleford.  Insufficient evidence to proceed.

Police received a Mental Health Act complaint.  The subject of complaint was transported to Battlefords Union Hospital by Emergency Medical Services for assessment.

Members are investigating a complaint of fraud.

RCMP received a report of a missing person.  The individual was located.

Police received a complaint of a stolen vehicle.  This matter is still under investigation.

RCMP received a complaint of an intoxicated individual at a residence.  Members transported the subject of complaint to cells to remain until sober. 

Police received a complaint of an intoxicated individual at a business.  Members attended but the subject of complaint was gone on arrival. 

Members received a Mental Health Act complaint.  Emergency Medical Services transported the subject of complaint to Battlefords Union Hospital for assessment.

RCMP received a complaint of breach of peace.  Members attended but the subjects of complaint were gone on arrival.

A 30-year-old female from Little Pine First Nation was charged with fail to comply with release order condition after Members located her breaching a release order.

Members received a request to assist Emergency Medical Services with a patient.

Police received a complaint of a stolen vehicle but it was unfounded.

RCMP located an abandoned vehicle.  The vehicle was not registered and was subsequently towed.

A youth was charged with fail to comply with undertaking condition after Members received a complaint of an individual breaching an undertaking.

Police received a complaint of an intoxicated individual in public.  Members transported the subject of complaint to cells to remain until sober. 

There were also ten traffic complaints, two false alarms and three false 911 calls.
