Voting day is today in three Saskatchewan provincial ridings.

REGINA - Today, August 10, is the day three provincial byelections are happening in Regina and area.

Polls are open until 8 p.m. today in the ridings of Lumsden-Morse, Regina Coronation Park and Regina Walsh Acres.

All three ridings had been held by the Saskatchewan Party but two of them — Coronation Park and Walsh Acres — are considered tossups and face a strong NDP challenge. Lumsden-Morse is still widely expected to go to the Saskatchewan Party but a strong challenge is being mounted there by the new Saskatchewan United Party in what will be their first election test.

The advance polls had been open since August 3 in all three ridings. Once the polls close at 8 p.m., counting will be done through the new electronic tabulation system in place and it is expected results will come in quickly.

Here is a look at the candidates on the ballot in all three ridings.

Lumsden-Morse - vacated by resignation of Lyle Stewart:

Les Guillemin, Buffalo Party of Saskatchewan
Kaitlyn Stadnyk, New Democratic Party (N.D.P.)
Isaiah Hunter, Saskatchewan Green Party
Blaine McLeod, Saskatchewan Party
Jon Hromek, Saskatchewan United Party

Regina Coronation Park - vacated by resignation of Mark Docherty:

Noor Burki, New Democratic Party (N.D.P.)
Olasehinde Ben Adebayo, Progressive Conservative Party of Saskatchewan

Riaz Ahmad, Saskatchewan Party
Reid Hill, Sask Progress

Regina Walsh Acres - vacated by death of Derek Meyers:
