Battlefords RCMP investigating fatal collision involving pedestrian

RCMP say the pedestrian was transported to hospital and later declared deceased.

NORTH BATTLEFORD — The victim of a fatal collision involving a pedestrian has been identified as a 62-year-old female from Moosomin First Nation.

On Dec. 19 at approximately 3:05 p.m., Battlefords RCMP and Community Safety Officers responded to a collision involving a pedestrian at the intersection of 102nd Street and 11th Avenue in North Battleford.

RCMP say the pedestrian was transported to hospital and later declared deceased. Her family has been notified.

Battlefords RCMP continues to investigate with the assistance of a Saskatchewan RCMP collision reconstructionist and Battlefords RCMP General Investigation Section.
