Alfred Nyarko Okyere had recently moved to Canada when he was killed.

On March 6, the Canora/Sturgis RCMP were dispatched to a disturbance call at a business in Canora. The caller reported an intoxicated man was yelling, screaming and threatening people.

The EPS reported a decrease in crime and calls for service, as well as different types of crimes.

Police handled another assault earlier in the week.

On March 12 at approximately 1 a.m., Prince Albert RCMP received a report of a stolen vehicle.

On July 14, 2024, at approximately 6:20 p.m., Canora RCMP received a report of a collision involving a pedestrian on 2 Avenue East.

Overnight on March 11, several cars, garden sheds and garages were entered and items taken in the Village of Fillmore.

At approximately 12:30 p.m. on March 12, police were called to a business in the 1300 block of 6th Avenue East for a report of an injured person.
