LA LOCHE – A woman was hit by a bullet in Lac La Loche and taken to hospital with serious but non-life-threatening injuries on Feb. 27.
La Loche RCMP say that just before midnight on Feb. 27 they got a report of an injured person at the hospital in La Loche. Their investigation determined a group of individuals were out on the ice on Lac La Loche and the woman was hit by a bullet.
La Loche RCMP are investigating the circumstances of the shooting. If an imminent risk to public safety is identified, they will alert the public.
