Saskatoon woman dies in collision near Moose Jaw

Investigation continues, police say.

MOOSE JAW – A 26-year-old woman from Saskatoon was declared deceased on scene after a collision north of Moose Jaw.

Moose Jaw RCMP were called to the scene on Highway 2 at around 6:25 p.m. on July 7.

"Investigation determined an SUV and a semi collided," said RCMP in a media release. "The driver and sole occupant of the SUV was declared deceased at the scene."

Family members of the deceased woman have been notified, and police are continuing to investigate along with a reconstructionist.

The driver and only occupant of the semi was not injured.
