Saskatoon police cruiser collides with vehicle: Four sent to hospital

Police were responding to call on Spadina Crescent.

SASKATOON – Four people were taken to hospital after a Saskatoon police patrol vehicle collided with a vehicle while responding to call on Spadina Crescent Tuesday.

Police say that at about 11:30 p.m., May 30, a marked patrol vehicle was travelling northbound on Spadina Crescent with their emergency equipment activated collided with a civilian vehicle. They were attempting to pass a civilian vehicle when it turned westbound onto Duke Street, resulting in a collision.

Both vehicles had two occupants, and all four were transported to hospital for treatment of non-life-threatening injuries.

The SPS Collision Analyst Unit is investigating.
