Regina police say woman's death not a homicide investigation

REGINA - The Regina Police Service, in conjunction with the Saskatchewan Coroner’s Service, has concluded that the death of a woman Tuesday is not a criminal case.

At about 11:50 p.m. on Dec. 5, patrol officers were dispatched to a home in the 1300 block of Montague Street for a report of a deceased person. Officers secured the scene and requested a coroner, as well as additional police resources.

The investigation, including an autopsy authorized by the Coroner, has concluded that the death is non-criminal in nature. The name of the deceased person will not be released say Regina Police Service.
