P. A. Police charge man with drug trafficking offences

Members of the Prince Albert Police Service Crime Reduction Team have concluded a drug trafficking investigation with the execution of a search warrant and the arrest of a 26-year-old Ontario man.

Police seized 160 grams of crack cocaine, $20,602 in Canadian Currency, 13 grams of cutting agent and additional evidence to support drug trafficking.

Members of the Prince Albert Police Service Crime Reduction Team have concluded a drug trafficking investigation with the execution of a search warrant and the arrest of a 26-year-old Ontario man.

On June 7, the Prince Albert Police Service Crime Reduction Team, with the assistance of the Prince Albert Saskatchewan Trafficking Response Team and the Proactive Policing Unit, executed a Controlled Drugs and Substance Act search warrant in the 500 block of River Street West.  As a result of the search, police located and seized 160 grams of crack cocaine, $20,602 in Canadian Currency, 13 grams of cutting agent and additional evidence to support drug trafficking.

A 26-year-old male has been charged with possession for the purpose of trafficking cocaine and possession of proceeds of crime.
He will make his first appearance in Prince Albert Provincial Court on June 18.
