PRINCE ALBERT – Police arrested 37-year-old Ilonna May Josie who was wanted on an outstanding Canada-wide warrant. She had on her possession a loaded sawed-off .22 rifle, ammunition, 36 grams of Methamphetamine, 1.7 grams of MDMA, $115 in cash and other evidence supporting drug trafficking charges.
On July 26, members of the Prince Albert Police Service Crime Reduction Team and Saskatchewan Trafficking Response Team arrested Josie in the 3200 block of 2nd Avenue West who was known to have a Canada-wide warrant for breach of her statutory release.
Josie is now charged with possession for the purpose of trafficking methamphetamine and several firearms offences. The estimated street value of the methamphetamine seized is $2,500.
Josie made her first court appearance Thursday in Prince Albert Provincial Court.
