PRINCE ALBERT – A non-jury trial is expected to start June 10 for Tyson Lachance who is charged with second-degree murder in the death of 20-year-old Wesley Custer.
The trial will run one to three weeks, according to court officials at Prince Albert Court of King’s Bench.
Lachance, 24, was arrested on May 25, 2022, at the Saskatoon Correctional Centre.
Three people were charged with Custer's murder. He was brought to the Shellbrook hospital in Shellbrook on Aug. 21, 2020, with serious injuries and died shortly after.
There is a ban on publication.
