DESCHAMBAULT LAKE — Deschambault Lake RCMP are currently investigating an incident in Deschambault Lake and have taken a suspect into custody.
This afternoon, RCMP said there would be an increased police presence in the community as a result of this investigation. Residents were asked to stay away from areas where police were present and follow any direction provided by officers.
Deschambault Lake RCMP have taken a suspect into custody pending further investigation. They do not believe there is any imminent public safety risk associated with this incident. If one is identified, the public will be immediately notified.
