AHTAHKAKOOP – Ahthahakoop RCMP are investigating after a pedestrian was fatally struck by a vehicle on Ahthahakoop Cree Nation at approximately 11:40 p.m. on July 11.
Police and EMS immediately responded and found an injured 25-year-old man from Debden. He was declared deceased by EMS at the scene. His family has been notified.
Police say their initial investigation determined the man was struck by a vehicle and their investigation into the circumstances of the collision continues.
Ahtahkakoop RCMP ask anyone with information to contact them at 306-780-5461. Ahthahakoop Cree Nation is in Shellbrook, which is about 45 kilometres west of Prince Albert.
