SASKATOON – A 25-year-old woman has been charged with assault causing bodily harm after she allegedly used a scooter to assault a 71-year-old man on Wednesday evening.
Saskatoon police say that patrol officers responded to the 500 block of 24th Street East for a report of a woman assaulting a man with a scooter outside of an apartment building. Bystanders were able to intervene and stop the assault before police arrived.
The 71-year-old man was taken to hospital with non-life-threatening injuries.
The woman will appear in Saskatoon Provincial Court.
