Former Riders take in Football Week in the Parkland festivities

Among the guests town during the much-anticipated Football Week in the Parkland were two individuals who helped the 1966 Saskatchewan Roughriders defeat their Ontario-based, same-named nemesis, the Ottawa Rough-riders for the Grey Cup.

AAA baseball

This weekend saw the AAA Canadian Tire Pee Wee baseball team in Estevan and Weyburn. On Saturday, a double header was held in Estevan with their first game a loss of 16-5. Their second game tied with a score of 8 - 8.

The Goodeve Community Center Winter Wonderland Supper and Dance was held February 26th. A chicken breast and pork loin supper was served with salads that were provided by the local community members.
