YORKTON – Mental health advocate Allen Kehler was in the city May 29 to speak at the Painted Hand Casino's Event Centre.
Kehler, the best-selling author of several books, struggled with addictions and mental health. The turning point in Kehler's life came when his doctor gave him a month to live. He now carries a message sharing his story to "create a space where people are seen, heard and supported."
