A century has past with many changes in the world from technology to individual changes. Ivy Peterson (Bannister) persevered through the changes and hard times as she celebrated her 100 th birthday surrounded by many family and friends on March 5.

Last concert scheduled

The Whitehawk Arts Council is scheduled to host the last concert in the Stars for Saskatchewan performances on March 17 when the Wheatland Band will bring its signature comedy and heart-felt performance to the Sturgis Community Hall.

The Sturgis Kinsmen-Miracle continued the tradition of helping others when the Kinsmen hosted their 36th annual Mini-Miracle on March 3. The Mini-Miracle raised $31,040.
